I work with a small number of PhD students and collaborators at any one time, typically supervising only one or two new PhD students per year. This lets me spend time with each person and support them in developing as independent researchers.

My group operates as a small research community: people come together around questions of computation, arithmetic, hardware, and machine learning, with an emphasis on mathematical and structural understanding.
